What is your delivery timeframe?
It totally depends on the project and our upfront discussions. Each project is different so communication is critical. I will always be open about any constraints I have with regards to vacation or other issues that may require me to extend a time frame. I usually can get a project to you in about 2 days but if you need it sooner, let's talk about it!
What if I don't like the voice over recording?
Don't worry, this happens! Usually we just need to talk it through a bit more and clarify the pace, tone and delivery. I will ask a lot of questions up front so once I record, I feel confident about your direction. If you have a copy of a video, audio or storyboard, you can share it with me so I can understand the project.
Can I have a custom sample of the script?
Since this is not an audition platform, once you decide we should work together and we have talked about the pace, tone and delivery, I would be glad to send you a few short samples of the script. You and your team can make sure the delivery is right before I record the final.
What if I want you to record something again?
I want all of my clients to be happy. We can discuss up front the number of revisions that is appropriate. That's why communication is so important in the beginning of our collaboration. Generally, I offer a few revisions. This means changes to a word or phrase, but not an entire re-read of a script unless it's my fault. I will always change anything if I make a mistake.
Can you record a narration for a YouTube AD?
Yes. All I need is the script and I will record it according to your needs and send it back to you in an MP3 format for you to use in any social media. Keep in mind that a social media Ad is generally shorter, about :30 to :60 seconds long. If you have the music to share, that would be great. It helps with creating the right pace and tone.
Is your voice an AI recording?
NO! The benefit of using Volunteer Voice Over is that nonprofit organizations generally don't have the budget for expensive voice over. With VVO, your organization can use a real voice talent instead of an artificial voice.
